WHAT IT IS?
"Afronarrandonos: our stories and our bodies",
a Literary Fellowship, is designed to shower Black Girls and Black non-binary teenagers with love, trust, joy, and playfulness while strengthening and empowering them to be able to stand firm in self developed, grounded and conscious beliefs about who they are and that means for and in their lives, their families and their communities.
OUR OBJECTIVES:

To center the perspectives and experiences of Black girls in different countries of the Americas

To increase awareness about the realities and challenges faced by Black girls in the Americas, especially related to reproductive rights and justice

Promote dialogue between Black girls in the region and human rights professionals advocating for children’s rights
WHAT WE WILL OFFER:

Interactive and lively group workshops that provide tools and techniques that reflect the different lived experiences of Black Girls in the Americas.

Writing workshops that center on adolescent Reproductive Justice and well-being (Bienvivir)

One-on-one coaching/mentoring

$25 dollars/week stipend
-
Publication (digital and printed) with the compilation of all writing projects
