OUR CORE WORK
Since 2014, we have been educating and organizing for human rights,
democracy, and racial justice throughout the Americas. Through three focus areas, AfroResistance has worked to ensure that Black women and girls are leading movements for true liberation and equality.
We provide Analysis, Data and Reports from the region centered on Black Women and Girls from Latin America and the Caribbean
We work to build an intentional, international, and political movement for social justice and human rights in the Americas
We deliver popular human rights education focused on race, gender, and immigration for people of African descent to ensure that they are empowered as decision-makers.
"The solutions for my community have to arise from my community with a racial justice lens to resolve those issues."
— Janvieve Williams Comrie, AfroResistance Executive Director
