Sobre o evento
Join AfroResistance for a Black Joy Meet Up as we gather in community for a free evening of film, conversation, and Black queer storytelling in the Bronx.
We’ll be attending Bronx Frame x Bronx Cinema, a community screening presented by Bronx Frame and Bronx Independent Cinema Center featuring short films and the feature film Dreams in Nightmares.
The film follows a group of queer Black friends navigating love, identity, belonging, and chosen family across the United States. It offers a powerful reflection on friendship, community, and the radical possibility of creating space to dream and exist beyond the systems that attempt to define us.
